The Wildwoods, NJ – Enjoying some mouthwatering ribs, chicken, brisket, and pork along with some of the best Blues music during the 22nd Annual New Jersey State Barbeque Championship and Anglesea Blues Festival.
22nd Annual New Jersey State Barbeque Championship
The three-day festival will occur at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues in the North Wildwood Entertainment District on Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11.
Featuring 61 barbeque teams competing for 1st through 5th places in pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket.
Teams will show off their grill skills in front of Kansas City Barbeque Society judges in their quest to be named the Grand Champion.
The New Jersey State Barbecue Grand Champion competes in the invitation-only world championship, the American Royale, in Kansas City, Missouri.
On Sunday, July 11, the festival concludes with an open-air market from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Judging for the 2021 Barbeque Grand Championship – conducted by the Kansas City Barbeque Society and a panel of volunteers and guest judges.
This includes New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way, PHL17’s Khiree Stewart, and Shore Local Magazine’s Marc Berman, which begins at noon. The awards ceremony commences at 4:30 p.m. FREE live Blues performances continue with BC Combo from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m...
