South Philadelphia is known for its Italian and Irish communities, which are really made up of even more culturally diverse neighborhoods.
Its Italian district is the well-known 9th St corridor made famous in the Rocky movies montage of Rocky Balboa taking a morning run, known as the Italian market. The area is also home to well-known Vietnamese pho restaurants, numerous Mexican taquerias, and loads of dive bars.
It's also home to The Philadelphia Sports Complex, which is home to all Philadelphia's sports teams search: the Philadelphia Eagles, the Flyers, The Phillies, the 76ers, and Xfinity live center and live casino and resort.
Across from the South Philadelphia, Sports Complex defines one of the city's most historic parks, FDR park, which will for the first time host the Philadelphia Flower Show in 2021.
