For the folks who balk at the idea of spending hours in the kitchen or can’t make it home for their tryptophan fix, the stellar staff at Square 1682 and Chef Caitlin Mateo have crafted the perfect Thanksgiving three course prixe-fixe menu for $55 a person. This Mateo’s second year cooking Thanksgiving dinner at Square 1682 and will be a definitely sell out event. Early reservations are encouraged. (215)

1st Course

Parsnip soup- roasted cauliflower, beet, hazelnut, mezza greens


Warm spinach salad- smoked bacon, heirloom carrots, toasted quinoa, amish blue cheese, white balsamic vinaigrette


2nd Course

Heritage herb roasted turkey- root vegetable farrotto, blistered haricot vert, traditional gravy


Roasted Acorn Squash- braised du puy lentils, beech mushrooms, pearl onion, roasted garlic buerre blanc


For the table:

Whipped potatoes- truffled black pepper butter


Brussels sprouts- pickled cranberries, curry butter, fried shallots


3rd Course

Carrot Cake –  pomegranate, basil coulis, vanilla bean gelato


Pear Crostata – port wine syrup, almond brittle, honey gelato

RED: LaTerre Cabernet, Columbia Merlot


$50 Bottles:

WHITE: MacMurray Pinot Gris, J.Lohr Chardonnay, Tangent Sauvignon Blanc
