Graffito Works 2017: Melt/Carve/Forge: Embodied Sculptures by Cassils

Philadelphia, PA (January 4, 2016) – Graffito Works, a unique platform for dancers and performing artists to create site-specific work, launches its third season at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), 118-128 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. with movement inspired by the exhibition Melt/Carve/Forge: Embodied Sculptures by Cassils.

Philly's Third Annual Turkey Day Tailgate

Philadelphia PA - This Sunday, November 20th tailgate in style with Phan Cave and Philly PR Girl at the third annual Turkey Day Tailgate from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Schmidt’s Commons. Guests will enjoy Thanksgiving-themed bites and an open bar while they cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles as they play the Seattle Seahawks. To make this event even more special, all guests are asked to celebrate the season of giving by bringing non-perishable food items to support Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization.

Bartram’s Mile - Schuylkill Banks Recreational Trail

On the west side of the Schuylkill River, this new, 1.1-mile extension of the Schuylkill Banks trail passes through Bartram’s Garden, the country’s oldest botanical garden, once frequented by John Bartram’s buddy Benjamin Franklin. While walkers, runners and bikers ponder the 18^th-century bromance, they can snap heart-worthy Instagram pics of the Philly skyline from the 56^th Street access point. Opens April 22, 2017.
