Philadelphia, PA - Local Philadelphia restaurants and foundations are on a mission to help local restaurants feed the region's hospital staff and first responders during these troubled times.
Hospital Heroes Food Drive
The Trauma Survivors Foundation has joined with Small Talk Media and Aversa PR as well as their contributing clients to establish the Hospital Heroes Food Drive. The drive has up to this point has raised over $10,000 in support of local restaurants delivering meals to hospital staff free of charge.
The program offers meals to nurses and medical staff at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Crozer-Chester Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, Einstein Medical Center, Christiana Hospital, and are planning to add additional locations.
Small Talk Media restaurant clients include Top Tomato, JJ Bootleggers, SQ Philip's Steaks, Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse, Bourbon Blue, and Grotto Pizza. Aversa PR's partners include Cry Baby Pasta, SliCE, P'unk Burger, Rosy's Taco Bar, Makhani Modern Indian, Kurry Shack, and Dim Sum House. Glu Hospitality Launches Feed the Frontline
Glu Hospitality, includes Leda and The Swan, Vesper Center City, Vesper Dayclub, soon to open Anejo & Germantown Garden, has recently created a new service to deliver meals to the front lines as well as support medical staff with " We Cooked" service.
The delivery meal service enables the general public to buy meals for hospital workers as a way to show support. For your $10 donation, two meals will be delivered to hospital workers for free thru #feedthefrontline.
