Mama’s Meatballs and Pizzeria in Pennsauken

Joseph Argento, one of the owners of Mama’s, has been making pizza for almost his whole life. When his family immigrated into the country, They opened a shop and started making pizza making.

Years later, Joseph and Katherine Argento took over Mama’s Meatballs and Pizzeria back in June of 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic located in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Mama’s makes such a unique pizza with fresh, homemade ingredients, which definitely sets it apart from other pizzerias in the area.

Joe’s pizza starts off with pizza dough made from standard Italian flour for a crispy crust. The sauce is made from tomatoes, ground daily, sea salt, basil, and olive oil. The pies are then topped off with a blend of buffalo milk and whole milk mozzarella cheeses.

The pizzeria serves up a variety of different pizza styles to suit every taste. From New York, Sicilian, and Grandma style pizzas, all with various toppings and styles.
