Philadelphia, PA - ‘Open on the Ave’ brings socially distanced dining, shopping, and more to the streets of South Philly. East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District announced “Open on the Ave,” Philadelphia’s first temporary street closure program.
Open On The Avenue Participating Restaurants
Participating restaurants and eateries include Barcelona Wine Bar, Big Catch Poke, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Black & Brew, Cantina Los Caballitos, Essen, Flannel, Fond, ITV Philly, Isabella Pizza, Laurel, Le Virtù, Manatawny Still Works, Marra’s, Noir Philadelphia, NOORD cafe, Palace of Indian, Perla, Philly Bagels, Pistolas Del Sur, Pub on East Passyunk (POPE), P’unk Burger, River Twice, Stateside, Stogie Joe’s Tavern, Teas n’ Mi, The Bottle Shop, and more.
Dining on The Streets of South Philly
Shoppers can look forward to sidewalk sales, private shopping options, summer fashions, gifts, greenery, and more along the Avenue.
Mask-wearing is mandatory until patrons are seated for eating and drinking, and six-foot distancing practices should still be followed in all other areas.
Reservations are strongly encouraged with individual restaurants to maintain safe social distance practices.
Hours of operation will be from 5 pm to 10 pm Friday, 8 am to 10 pm Saturday, and 8 am to 5 pm Sunday, from Friday, July 10 at 5 pm through Sunday, July 12, ending at 5 pm.
