Philadelphia, PAHipCityVeg Offering Free Ice Cream on National Ice Cream Day! - HipCityVeg, a Philadelphia-based food brand, and The Franklin Fountain have teamed up for a Philly-inspired collaboration this summer. They will release a limited edition vegan ice cream flavor exclusively in Philadelphia. Available at HipCityVeg starting Sunday.


HipCityVeg and The Franklin Fountain Unveil Limited Release Vegan Ice Cream Flavor


On Sunday, July 16th, National Ice Cream Day at 11 AM, HipCityVeg Rittenhouse's and Suburban Square's locations will offer free ice cream.

The Franklin Fountain in Philadelphia’s Old City has created a Mint Chocolate Chip vegan ice cream flavor exclusively for HipCityVeg. The swirls in the ice cream are made from dark chocolate produced by a bean-to-bar process.
Shane's Confectionery is America's oldest candy shop. The Franklin Fountain, created by Eric and Ryan Berley in 2004, is America's oldest candy store. The ice creams of the Franklin Fountain are made by hand in an old building in Old City.

HipCityVeg is a vegan restaurant founded by Nicole Marquis. It opened its first store in Rittenhouse Square in 2012. The chain is known for its seasonal flavors, such as Cold Brew and creamy vegan shakes.


HipCityVeg, which began selling ice cream in the summer by the scoop, will now expand its offering with these collaborations.
