Philadelphia, PA - The Shake Shack now has its very own food truck in Philly. The company recently purchased two brand new food trucks for the east coast region, available for events only. One truck will service New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania and the other will be for Atlanta region.
The Shake Shack Launches New Food Trucks
The Shake Shack introduced its new food trucks, this past February in New Jersey, and also Atlanta announced Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti. The brand new trucks are going to be manned by hometown brick-and-mortar Shake Shack employees and come out for community events, festivals, private parties, and so on.
Along with the new food trucks, a huge Shake Shack is opening up at Citizens Bank Park’s new “Pass and Stow” and will be the very first sit-down, eating venue Shake Shack inside a sports stadium. Philadelphia, also, has Shake Shack located at 20th and Sansom, 32nd and Chestnut, 12th and Chestnut, King of Prussia mall, and even The Wells Fargo Center.
This past year, The Shake Shack launched 34 new restaurants in the US as well as 16 other countries. Which means that 80% of Shake Shack's are currently outside of their original New York area. This coming year, the company plans to open up 36 to 40 new locations.
