Philadelphia’s Bakers for Ukraine
Philadelphia pastry chef Abby Dahan of The Bake School has assembled some of the best pastry chefs in the city to help raise money for World Central Kitchen, whose current mission is to help Ukrainian refugees find comfort in a meal during their displacement.
“A small army of the best bakers in Philly are creating delicious baked goods while also raising money for people in the direst of circumstances,” said Dahan. “Anything that people can do to help people in Ukraine right now is our number-one goal, and I hope to see a great turnout for a good cause and for food that is good for the soul.”
The bake sale will occur at Amanda Shulman’s Her Place Supper Club at 1740 Sansom Street in Rittenhouse on Sunday, March 6th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or sellout.
