Broad Street Run Road Closures

Philadelphia, PA - The Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department, operator of the 2018 Blue Cross Broad Street Run, has announced the following road closures and detours that will be in effect for the Sunday, May 6th race, which begins at 8:00 a.m. The Broad Street Run is a rain or shine event.

Hellerick's Family Farm's Aerial Adventure Park

Philadelphia, PA - Hellerick's Family Farm's Aerial Adventure Park, a collection of zip lines, bridges, and a quick jump free fall in Bucks County, less than an hour from Philadelphia, opens for its second season on March 24. The park will be open on weekends only until June, then daily until November.

Philadelphia, PA - Friends of Rittenhouse Square recognized Earth Day by organizing an open community clean up in Philadelphia’s most historic park, Rittenhouse Square. Participants were provided with the tools needed to help get rid of trash around the park. As a unique thank you for individuals that come out to assist, participants were treated with special gifts, among them free frozen custard from The Shake Shack, located on 20th and Sansom Streets, and complimentary macarons from Sofitel Philadelphia.
