Philadelphia, PA - City and state officials, philanthropic organizations, cultural and business leaders, neighbors and civic groups joined Center City District (CCD) President and CEO Paul R. Levy and members of the public for a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the official opening of Phase 1 of the Rail Park, a $10.8 million construction project that has transformed a blighted section of the former Reading Railroad Viaduct into an elevated park with walking paths, landscaping, lighting, swinging benches, and expansive city views. The project also included the reconstruction, landscaping and lighting of the 1300 block of Noble Street.

Old City Eats kicks off on the First Day of Summer, Thursday, June 21, with the Old City Eats Block Party on 2nd Street between Market and Chestnut Streets from 5:00-9:00 pm. This includes an expansion into the parking lot on 2nd Street with even more food and entertainment in 2018!

Dilworth Plaza - Fine Art & Craft Fair

Philadelphia, PA - Dilworth Park is hosting its first ever Fine Art & Craft Fair on Saturday, June 16 from 11:00 AM-6:00 PM. The event, produced by Renaissance Craftables, will showcase fine art and crafts from over 30 vendors, curated by the company. Renaissance Craftables has produced other local shows in Haddonfield, NJ and Manayunk, PA. This is their first show in Center City.
