Philadelphia, PAPhoto Pop Philly Exhibit - Photo Pop Philly is poppin’ up again this summer! This May, Philly PR Girl is excited to introduce Photo Pop Philly: Sweet Paradise, where guests will immerse themselves in unique environments exploring themes of paradise. Located in the heart of Old City at The Bourse, a newly-restored food hall, Photo Pop’s brand-new, one-of-a-kind exhibit is sure to bring energy and excitement to historic Philadelphia.

Interactive short-term art installations have quickly taken over major markets, and it’s about time The City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection gets one, too! Similar photo experiences in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and San Francisco have gone viral, attracting people from all over the world.

Inspired by the history of Philadelphia and the American spirit, Photo Pop’s inaugural theme is red, white, and blue. Guests will make their way through five different rooms filled with interactive displays by many talented local artists. They will find selfie-worthy art, impactful murals, fun installations, and an endless amount of photo opportunities! The Photo Pop team has worked hard to ensure there is something new and unexpected around every corner. With vivid imaginations and creative vision, the possibilities are endless.

Events and Announcements

The Photo Pop will be hosting an ongoing virtual silent auction to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Creative Arts Therapy Program.   This auction would not be possible without Photo Pop Philly's presenting artists who donated their time and amazing talent.  Photo Pop will be having a check ceremony in the Sweet Paradise exhibit on August 20th when the silent auction ends and will present CHOP with a check of the proceeds from the auction.   The winners from the auction will also be announced at this time.

Music and art therapy aims to help patients who experience illness, trauma, or challenges in living, and who seek personal development. This program works to increase self-awareness, cope with symptoms, relieve stress and traumatic experiences and form relationships among others. Hospitalized children from all different units have the chance to participate in different workshops and activities during their stay to help cope with the challenges they are facing.
