Philadelphia, PAHoliday Light Show Coming to Dilworth Park - Center City District has recently joined with 6abc to make City Hall once again come to life using the sights and sounds of the holiday season. In its 2nd year, the Deck the Hall Light Show, brought to you by Independence Blue Cross, is a vibrant and amazing audio and light display, projected daily against the west façade of Philadelphia’s City Hall and coordinated along with classical holiday soundtracks.

“We are excited to be a part of this exhilarating spectacle of sight and sound,” says President and General Manager of 6abc, Bernie Prazenica. “It’s great to be a part of the holidays right here in Center City, and we’re excited to see how show producers will exceed last year’s electrifying performance.”

KLIP Productions, the producers of last year's light show, are expanding and enhancing this year's program, producing an even more dynamic display this year. The lighting program will start Monday, November 19, along with a fantastic kick-off event, then run all the way through January 1, 2019.

“We’re thrilled to help bring the holiday magic of the Deck the Hall Light Show to residents and visitors alike,” said Daniel J. Hilferty, Independence Blue Cross President, and CEO. “we are committed to the health and well-being of our community for 80 years, and encourage everyone to head to City Hall for the light show, stroll through the Holiday Market and Wintergarden, and surround yourself with the warmth and spirit of the season.”

What you will find a great deal to do at Dilworth Park this particular winter; from light displays, ice skate at the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, or get a bite at the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin. Warm up at fire pits at the rear of the cabin, pay a visit to the Wintergarden, plus browse regionally made gift ideas and fare in the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market.
