Philadelphia, PA - A 78 year-old-female, was in the parking lot of the Shop Rite supermarket located at 1575 North 52nd Street when an unknown white male exited his car and grab the victim’s purse containing various credit cards and identification, and $100 then jumping back into his vehicle.
The victim attempted to stop the suspect by jumping onto the car as the vehicle backed up, causing her to fall off. The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim did not sustain any major injuries during this incident.
Suspect Description: Male, late 20 years-of-age, light complexion, thin build, light mustache and beard, wearing a black winter hat, black jacket, red hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, and was operating a gray four-door sedan possibly an early model Hyundai Accent.
