Philadelphia, PA - Hurricane Dorian may leave up to a half-inch to an inch of rain down the shore. The tides at the Jersey and Delaware shores will be running high, and some coastal flooding is expected, with little if any beach erosion. However, the surf will be heavy and dangerous rip currents are likely. With winds along the coast estimated anywhere between 20 to 35 mph with wind gusts reaching 45 and 50 mph.
Some of the rainfall from Dorian could reach Philadelphia. However high winds may be an issue in the city, estimated to be between 12 to 20 mph along with wind gusts topping 30 and 35 mph.
