Philadelphia, PA - Philadelphia's favorite Memorial Day Weekend tradition is back! Free Toll Friday returns to the Atlantic City Expressway after a pandemic break. Chickie's and Pete's will pay all the tolls for Eastbound cars through the Egg Harbor Exit during Rush Hour this Friday.
Chickie's & Pete's and the South Jersey Transportation Authority are partnering to make your Memorial Day weekend memorable with their annual "100 Days of Summer" celebration. On Friday, May 24th, head to the Frank S. Farley Plaza on the Atlantic City Expressway for a day filled with family fun, delicious food, and live entertainment.
From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, enjoy complimentary Crabfries® from the Chickie's & Pete's food truck and treats from Hershey's Ice Cream, Mars, Carlo's Bakery, and Applegreen. Monster Energy Drink will also be on hand to keep you energized.
The festivities don't stop there. Kids will love meeting the animals from The Funny Farm rescue sanctuary and showing off their artistic skills in the Sidewalk Chalk Fun Zone. There will also be K9 demonstrations, a classic car show, and over 60 vendors offering unique gifts and crafts. Plus, various food trucks will be on-site to satisfy any craving.
As the sun sets, Chickie's & Pete's is taking their generosity to the next level by paying tolls for all Eastbound Egg Harbor Toll Plaza drivers from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. So, whether you're paying with cash or EZ Pass, your ride to the shore is on them!
And in the spirit of Memorial Day, Chickie's & Pete's is partnering with The Patriot Fund to support our veterans. A portion of the proceeds from their "Patriot Punch" cocktail will be donated to the organization.
