Rita's Deli Replaced By Turtle Gut on Sunset Lake

The new Coffee House is open daily from 8 am-9 pm and overlooks Sunset Lake. The new restaurant's name comes from the old inlet that formed the city of Wildwood Crest, which was filled in many years ago. The new business will feature a menu of locally sourced food and coffee.

The menu includes Coffee, Breakfast Sandwiches, Parfait, a Smash Burger, and Ince Cream.

About Turtle Gut Inlet

The Turtle Gut Inlet separates Two Mile Beach and Five Mile Beach. Located in Diamond Beach, Lower Township, this inlet is now part of Sunset Lake. The area is also home to the Turtle Gut Inlet memorial, commemorating the Battle of Turtle Gut Inlet on June 29, 1776. It was the only American Revolutionary War battle fought in Cape May County.
