Cape May, NJ - The Raw Bar is located next to Cape May's historic Lobster House. Offering both indoor & outdoor seating and a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, great seafood, and drinks. The restaurant is split between the outdoor dockside service and the indoor waitress service.

Open to the dockside ambiance, the atmosphere in The Raw Bar dining room has the feel of an authentic waterfront boat-house and is filled with historic memorabilia from the fishing days of old Cape May’s past. The outdoor area is serviced by The Dockside Window Service where orders are placed at the window, patrons then find a table and wait for their numbers to be called. For those looking for a more formal dining experience the indoor section, features a full-waitress service.
We opted for the indoor service and started with their famous crab soup with lump crab meat and the New England-style clam chowder. The crab soup came with a healthy dose of crab and for those who crave spicy soups, this just might be your cup of soup. The clam chowder was very creamy and an extremely filling appetizer. Next, it was time to try the harbor Burger, a burger topped with a shrimp salad, provolone, and cheddar cheese. The burger is a unique mix of surf and turf, finished off with a handful of log Stye French Fries.
For those wanting to tryout the Raw Bar Seafood, you won't be disappointed. The menu has a wide variety of seafood options including crab, lobster, shrimp, clams, oysters and more. The restaurant has a full bar and cocktail menu, with both indoor and outdoor bar seating and beautiful views of the harbor and marina. The bar has a wide variety of beer is available on tap by the pint or pitcher, as well as bottled beer, wine, and soft drinks.
