What’s Old is New at Brandywine Branch Bistro
Owners Don and Carolyn Avellino were excited to share their passion for their house-distilled Gins and Whiskeys when we sat down with them Thursday night. Well, known for their four seasons inspired and gold medal-winning gin brand the Revivalist, the Brandywine Branch Bistro is combining their love for great craft spirits with their passion for an incredible dining experience. With the use of local produce, artisan cheeses, freshly picked fruits, and berries along with locally raised poultry, pork and free-range beef the bistro provides a seasonally changing menu sure to catch the eye of all its patrons.
Plates that captured our eyes, hearts and of course stomachs were the local cheese board, duck breast melt, the vegetarian-friendly Reuben, vegan chili and the rye truffle balls for dessert. The Brandywine Branch Bistro does it all when it comes to people's tastes and preferences (Vegan, Vegetarian and Carnivore friendly).
Not only is their craft kitchen providing a sensation dinner menu their craft cocktail menu pairs their exceedingly unique flavored gins perfectly with a variety of cocktails from their ‘Alien Blood’ to their ‘Ginger Mule’ and warm ‘Chai Tea.’ All in all the Brandywine Branch Bistro provides a five sense stimulating experience that will leave any patron questioning if heaven really is a place on earth.
