Philadelphia, PA – MilkBoy South Street, the iconic Philadelphia-born brand known for booze, bites, and music located on the corner of lively 4th and South Streets, is hosting its second installment of MilkBoy Summer BBQ, a day-long block party featuring food and drink specials, local vendors, live entertainment, and one dunk tank with proceeds benefiting Philly PAWS.
MilkBoy South Street Hosts End-Of-Summer BBQ Bash
The event will take place on Saturday, August 26th, from 2 - 8 PM, encompassing the 400 block of South Street. The pedestrian-only BBQ bash will boast an extensive selection of fare and boozy beverages courtesy of MilkBoy South Street and a bevy of local vendors and food trucks.
Chef Eric Richardson will be posted street-side grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, and other BBQ staples. MilkBoy will also offer drink specials from the newly launched seasonal cocktail menu, including Blueberry Rhapsody (vodka, blueberry simple syrup, lemonade), Citrus Sinatra (tequila, triple sec, blood orange juice, lime juice, agave), and Black Magic Brewtini (espresso martini utilizing Bean2Bean Espresso Concentrate). Select draft beers from sponsors Dogfish Head Brewery, Troegs Independent Brewing, and Founders Brewing will be featured, along with canned beverages from Stateside Vodka, Twisted Tea, Liquid Death, and Jägermeister.
Live entertainment and activities for folks of all ages will also be available, including DJ Maxx Staynoff-Williams (frontman of Black Landlord and former member of The Goats ) spinning tunes. Additionally, a dunk tank will be onsite featuring $1 throws, with all proceeds benefiting the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
