Philadelphia, PA - Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico behind Hawthorne's Beer Cafe, Wine Dive, Pivot Coffee and Soupery, The Cambridge, Tio Flores, Quick Sip. Will after years of planning, will finally open Grace and Proper in South Philly.
Grace and Proper Philly's Corner Staple Bar
The Duo will debut a new neighborhood corner bar and kitchen with Jon Medlinsky of Martha's in Kensington.
The finishing work is being completed for the interior design to mix sleek and retro elements with industrial materials and vibes. The look and feel will remind guests of being transported on Friday night well spent at a corner staple bar in the middle of Naples or in Lisbon - but right here in the Italian Market.
Look for indoor and outdoor seating, cocktails to go, day and evening service, weekend brunch down the road, delivery, and takeout. The food menu will be heavily influenced by cuisine and sourcing from the Italian Market.
Chris says, "The menu will be our ode to the Italian Market with our spin on the dishes and products we love. We are taking the time during the pandemic to spend the time perfecting every dish and every detail."
Look for a tight well-curated menu with everything ranging from small plates and bites to fuller dishes. The menu will rotate several times a month for variety. Look for Grace and Proper to open in early to mid-spring - somewhere between mid-March and early April.
