Philadelphia, PAHaddonfield's Angelo’s Pizzeria to Re-Open in South Philly - After a long a year and a half wait, Angelo’s Pizzeria is going to at long last be up and running once again. Danny DiGiampietro owner of the original Haddonfield NJ pizza shop is headed to South Philly.

Haddonfield's Angelo’s Pizzeria to Re-Open in South PhillyThe Pizzeria will take over the former Sarcone’s Deli storefront at the Italian Market, DiGiampietro is actually from South Philly and happens to be married into the Sarcone family - his wife, Lauren, is a Sarcone.

When Angelo’s Main Street in Haddonfield, N.J., Angelo’s was shut down because of water damage, customers were left hanging. The popular Pizza and Sandwich shops had gained quite the following in 2017. The owners announced they were going to open up shop in South Philadelphia.



Don’t be fooled by the name, Angelo’s Pizzeria does more than just cold hoagies and great pizza’s the shop is known for its garlic herb grandma pie, great cheesesteaks and hoagies as well as an assortment of fresh-baked bagels.

The majority of space at the new location is going to be used up by an extended kitchen area. DiGiampietro anticipates a larger takeout business, with just one or two dining tables for dining in.



Angelo ’s will open at 758 S. 9th street, plans to open by the end of January 2019.
