Philadelphia, PA - The Jason Thompson Foundation announces guest of honor, Darrell Rogers Jr. to attend the Summer Soiree benefiting cardiovascular health at Union Trust on August 1. Darrell Rogers Jr. is a local student-athlete who collapsed while playing basketball last year from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. After a long battle, Darrell has made a miraculous recovery.
The Summer Soiree will celebrate his heart health journey and proceeds from the event will help him continue his treatment and thrive, while also continuing to bring to light the heart health challenges many children and young athletes face. Tickets for the event are on sale now via TheJasonThompsonFoundation.com.
“We are thrilled to welcome Darrell Rogers Jr. and his family to the Summer Soiree,” said Jason Thompson, President, and Founder of the foundation. “I am inspired by his journey, and hope proceeds from our event can continue to provide game-changing treatment to help him thrive.”
FOX29’s Alex Holley and Mike Jerrick are set to host the extraordinary fundraising event, honoring those who advocate for heart-healthy lifestyles and bringing together the brightest stars in the community. Tickets can be found Here!
