Toska, the latest concept by the team behind M2O Burgers in the area, is a first-of-its-kind. The family of Jim, Leo, and Pep Osmanollaj, the owners, came to America in 2000 after the Kosovo War. The brothers and their families were disappointed to find that no restaurant in Philadelphia reflected the culture of their Albanian heritage. You can also add a wide range of vegetables and sauces, as seen on the menu and online.
Brendan Breslin has been brought on to help with the brewery. He has eight years of experience in the brewing industry and has most recently worked at Stickman Brews in Royersford. Brendan Breslin and the rest of his team will create four house beers in the brewery they built in the basement.
These include the Mt Airy Ale and Three Brothers IPA. Toska Hazy IPA and The Brew - Master Bren Lager. All these beers are available individually or as part of a flight. They will also feature rotating seasonal beers by local breweries, such as Victory Brewing Company and Workhorse Brewing. Troegs Brewing Company is another option. Conshohocken Brewing Company is yet another.
The brewery and restaurant also offer wine by bottle or glass and hand-crafted cocktail drinks.
Happy Hour will be offered daily from Monday to Friday, from 4 to 6 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. until midnight. The Happy Hour offers discounts on house beers, cocktails, and Wood Fired Wings. Caesar Salads, Toska Burgers, Corn Ribs with Hand Cut Fries, and Wood Fired Wings are also included. Live Music, Game Nights, and more are upcoming events.
Toska is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to midnight and Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm.
