Burgers 101 - With Labor Day weekend means one last chance to break out the grill, it means NFL kickoff and tailgating is only days away, and it also means it’s the last time to one up your usual burger game. BURGERFI’s Corporate Executive Chef, Paul Griffin, shares five tips for a better burger.
5 Burger Tips:
· Put what would traditionally be a side on your burger- i.e. fried egg, hash browns, bacon
· Spice up condiments- add garlic, jalapenos or Sriracha for that extra kick
· Cheeses make all the difference. It's OK if you like to play it safe with a standard American slice, but switching out this option with cheeses such as Gouda, Blue Cheese and Brie can add bursts of flavor to your creation
· Grill up veggies, such as mushrooms and peppers, to give your burger an extra fire grilled taste
· Looking to lose the bun? Wrap burgers in hand-cut lettuce and load burger with grilled veggies for a healthier alternative
