- GIANT Food Stores launched the very first GIANT Heirloom Market on Friday, January 25 at 7 a.m. The store, situated inside the Graduate Hospital neighborhood in 2303 Bainbridge Street, features a unique approach to food sales featuring an assortment of items focused on the urban community. The market is going to be open daily from 7 a.m-10 p.m., and employ around 60 full and part-time associates?

The market will combine modern innovation along with an emphasis on the surrounding neighborhood, all while providing the quality expected by GIANT. The 9,500 square foot store in Graduate Hospital will offer a selection of top quality, fresh, regional, and seasonal items.
GIANT’S community vendor relationships are going to be center stage at GIANT Heirloom Market in which passionate Philadelphia-area food purveyors such as High Street on Market, Isgro Pastries, One Village Coffee, and Sarcone’s Bakery will certainly attract local consumers.
The market will have an on-site Produce Chef to inspire customers as well as cut fresh vegetables and fruit on demand. Customers will experience a wide array of plant-based foods, local artisanal bread, kombucha on tap, and may also develop their very own olive oil and vinegar blends, infused alongside the flavors of their choice, at the do-it-yourself station. GIANT Heirloom Market will also showcase a large variety of craft and domestic beers as well as wines.
