Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite Philadelphia Vegan Week - The very first Vegan Restaurant Week begins this weekend September 16th and will run through the week right up until September 22, 2018. For a single week, dining establishments across the city will provide pre-fixed vegetarian selections featuring the cuisine which best exemplify each restaurant.

A percentage of the proceeds during the week will go to the Peace Advocacy Network, a Philadelphia-based organization which aids individuals on their journey towards a vegetarian way of life.

The long-standing South Street establishment Tattooed Mom’s will be hosting a kick-off party and bake sale on Monday, September 17th. Other events during the week include a BBQ night at Miss Rachel’s Pantry on Tuesday, September 18th, and a pop-up event by Plough & the Stars’ Vegan Chef Lenka on Saturday, September 22nd.

  • Enjoy vegan food, for those who are curious and want to try something new.
  • Enjoy this diverse community built on shared respect for animals, the planet, and good food.

There are two ways that restaurants can participate in PVRW this year:

  1. 1. Offer a three-course prix fixe vegan menu for $25, $35, or $45.
  2. 2. Serve one particular vegan item throughout the week, donating a % of proceeds to our PAN.
