Philadelphia, PA - The James Beard Foundation’s 7th annual Taste America culinary tour is making a stop in Philadelphia for the 3rd year from October 30th – November 1st. Taste America is a 20-city traveling dinner series bringing together the city’s most celebrated culinary talent for an unforgettable evening in celebration of the James Beard Foundation.

This year’s Local All-Star will be Michael Solomonov (Zahav), accompanied by Host Chef Marc Vetri (Vetri Cucina; Fitler Club), National All-Star Chef Michelle Bernstein (Café la Trova), Ange Branca (Sate Kampar), Billy Riddle and Jennifer Carroll (Spice Finch), James Matty (Suraya), Kate Jacoby (Vedge), and Samantha Kincaid (Cadence).

Tickets will range from $350.00 - $650.00. Taste America Kick off the Gala
Kicking off the Gala will be a new event, Raising the Bar, that will take place on October 30th at Porta and featuring mixologists, chefs and restaurateurs including Mike Cher (LaLo), Caroline Hough and Colleen Nealon (Porta), Michael Strauss (Mike’s BBQ), Judy Ni and Andy Tessier (Baology), Maria Polise (ITV), Resa Mueller (LaLo), Aaron Deary (R&D) and Paul MacDonald (Friday Saturday Sunday). Guests will enjoy a live DJ, a garnish wall, raffle tickets, and bites and cocktails. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.
