PHILADELPHIA, PA – Get ready, Philadelphia food enthusiasts! The prestigious James Beard Foundation® (JBF) has announced its national Taste America® event series for 2025-2026, and Philadelphia is on the map for a major culinary celebration. A walk-around tasting event is scheduled to take place in the city in March 2026, hosted by Philadelphia's selected TasteTwenty Chef, Yun Fuentes of BOLO.
Presented by Capital One, the Taste America series, now in its 13th year, celebrates the richness and diversity of American food culture across 20 U.S. cities. Each event highlights the unique flavors and independent restaurant community of its host city. The Philadelphia tasting, led by JBF Semifinalist® Chef Fuentes, promises an exciting opportunity to sample delectable bites, likely featuring creations from Fuentes himself alongside other local guest chefs (to be announced).
This event offers more than just great food; it's a chance to support the James Beard Foundation's national impact programming, which advocates for a more sustainable, equitable, and thriving future for the independent restaurant industry.
