Philadelphia, PA - Come if you dare to Philly’s Nightmare Before Tinsel Halloween Pop-up Bar and join in on the grand open this Thursday, October 3, 2019. The bewitching hour begins at 4:00 pm, and the nightmare will continue through October 31 at 116 S. 12th Street, located in the shuttered home of Simpson's Jewelry in Midtown Village.
From the creators of two of Philadelphia's most Instagrammable restaurants and bars (Blume & Tinsel) bring you a brand-new pop-up and Instagram-ready concept. Teddy Sourias (the owner of Blume, Tradesman's, BRU Craft & Wurst, U-Bahn, Uptown Beer Garden, Finn McCool's Ale House) is ready to deck the halls for a new holiday pop-up experience - this time trading holiday cheer for boos and boozy potions.
Beware of the ghosts which still haunt the 100+-year-old jewelry shop, look for exhibits, props, custom art as well as designs that range from scary and gory, to ironic and funny, to retro and vintage. Charge up your cell phones for plenty of selfies, photo ops, and screams as you experience things that go bump in the night.
