Philadelphia, PA - Located on the 9th floor of the Logan, Philadelphia’s Hotel, Assembly Rooftop Bar hosted a VIP party to start off the new season of their impressive open-air venue which has astounding views of the city.
Upon arrival, you were greeted by smiling servers donning the option for Prosecco or Rosé wine. And while the drinks were continually replenished, there was no shortage of small bites also being offered.
The level of sophistication and attention to detail that Assembly Rooftop Bar takes was impeccable, ensuring that every guest felt like a star at the opening party. There is an abundance of signature drinks, champagne’s, and wines to choose from on their menu, and the friendly and prompt servers were always available if you needed something else. As the drinks were kept flowing, so was the music. The positive and pleasurable vibe of the event was enhanced by a musician playing an electric violin alongside a DJ.

Adding to ambiance of this upscale and modern rooftop oasis, you will be immersed in one of the most exquisite venues in the city. With sweeping views that span Philadelphia’s Art and Museum district, and a hint of University City--you will lose yourself in the beauty of city life. If you really want to indulge in the good life, then Assembly’s chic bar and drink menu should be at the top of your list.
Although the setting is completely open, the décor is arranged so you still feel secluded in privacy with your friends. While my companions and I sat on one of the plush couches, I ordered the next signature drink I wanted to try. Fish House Punch was more spirit-forward and tasted complex; it reminded me of homemade iced tea with the slightest hint of sweetness, and spiked with an oaked liquor. I don’t smoke, nor is it allowed, but I feel like this would be a great drink to sip slowly as you smoke a cigar.
Instead of that, I enjoyed a plethora of samplings from Assembly Rooftop Bar’s SMALL PLATES menu; the Blackened Corn Guacamole was creamy and had a hint of heat, and the Chicken Satay was enrobed with strong notes of ginger, and nutty flavorings because of the sauce. The Lobster Roll was perfect to eat if the weather is hot and you want something light and fresh, as was the Caprese Toast with blistered heirloom tomatoes on top of the pillowy stracciatella cheese, fresh basil, and balsamic drizzled on top.
