Philadelphia, PA
- Every year, Caledonia Spirits invites several bars and restaurants to participate in Bee’s Knee’s Week, which benefits different organizations dedicated to saving bees and other vital pollinators. This year, they’ve partnered with The Bee Cause Project.
Bee’s Knee’s Week Philadelphia
13th Street Kitchen’s iconic Prohibition Taproom will be participating in this year’s Bee’s Knee’s Week, taking place from September 23- 29. Their artful take on the “Bee’s Knee’s” cocktail, dubbed the “Twelve Bees,” is a blend of Bar Hill gin, pear-honey-champagne syrup, lemon juice, and pink peppercorn. One-dollar from every “Twelve Bees” cocktail sold — which run for $12 each — will directly benefit The Bee Cause Project.
Sticking with the bee theme, Pro-Tap will be going above and beyond — much as the bees do — by serving some spicy honey wings at $10 a pop for six wings.
Pro-Tap will also be hosting a Bee’s Knee’s Week Wrap Party at their Callowhill outpost on Sunday, September 29, complete with bee-themed decor, tunes and more. Folks can participate in an actual high-low experience, featuring an artisan cocktail and down-and-dirty wings at Pro-Tap all week long to benefit bees.
