It was in Philadelphia bars that the American Revolution grabbed hold, and 100 years back, Philadelphia was known as the best melting pot city in the Western Hemisphere, for the "Support of American Libation."

In the mid-nineteenth through the mid twentieth century years, over 90 bottling works were home to Philadelphia, and another 100 worked in its environs. Prohibition restriction in 1920 created a sudden decrease—and close death—of practically the greater part of Philadelphia's brew makers.

Today, the craft  brewing revolution has begun to recovered the locale's notoriety a percentage of the world's best lager.Local  breweries such as Victory Brewing Company ,Triumph Brewing Company, Sly Fox and Yards Brewing Company deliver and disperse a percentage of the Philadelphia locale's beer and craft beer needs, and as of late, they've been joined by more up to date microbreweries and brewpubs, for example, Tired Hands Brewing Co., Forest and Main and Round Guys.

In the hotter months, Beer Lovers are heading outside. The regular Independence Beer Garden offers a nice beer break right on Independence Mall, while Spruce Street Harbor Park and Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest pull in individuals to the Delaware River waterfront with sustenance, brew, lofts, amusements and a roller-skating arena. Pop-ups including The Oval and the PHS Pop Up Gardens actuate underused spaces, much to the joy of beer fans and urban inhabitants. In summer 2016, Philadelphia will be home to more beer gardens than any time in recent memory. So head out and enjoy the Philly Beer Revolution.
