The Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure  Philadelphia, PA - On a Wednesday evening, I had visions of grandeur; instead, I ended up staying in Wilmington, Delaware. One day I'll realize that after 3 PM, I should just sit in my recliner and relax.

The Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure has an event coming up and required big envelopes, so I dragged myself to the local Dollar Tree. They didn't have them, so why not a salad from salad Works, but they had a long line.

Cheesesteak guy Fact; I'm a whiner. After sitting in my car sulking for a bit, I decided to find a cheesesteak place on the way to the next Dollar Tree on Philadelphia Pike. I know there is a pizza shop around Naaman's Road and Carpenter Station. So, I figured that was the right spot.

To my surprise, it was a Sciarrino's Pizza, I have been to the one Darby, and the sign said this is the original. This one was located in a quiet little strip mall and I was able to park in front.

I had high expectations for this Cheesesteak when I saw boardwalk-style pizza dominated the menu board. It's a relatively big menu with a lot of choices for a pizza spot. They have a couple of tables in case you want to eat in after Corona, of course.

This Cheesesteak did' ent let me down. It is interesting how different cheesesteaks can be. I decided on the Cheesesteak special, loaded with fried onions & mushrooms, peppers, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and topped off with sharp provolone cheese. The roll was toasted very well.

I think the beautiful thing about this Cheesesteak is that it had a lot of stuff in it and nothing got lost. Sharp provolone can take over a Cheesesteak, and on this Cheesesteak, it did not. This is the Cheesesteak you get when you want to taste all of the other stuff, including the well-toasted roll.

In the end, this Cheesesteak is unique because all of the tastes work very well together. If the extras on this Cheesesteak are indicators of how well the pizzas taste, we are looking at good tasting pizzas.
