Paradise PizzaPhiladelphia, PA - I had a long ride to Norristown and a good half hour to think about where I wanted to eat. I was hoping to get to Eve’s luncheonette in Norristown since it has been on my list for a long time. I dropped off my rider in a shopping center and pulled into a parking spot, so I could check my list of places to check out when I looked up and saw Paradise Pizza.

 Paradise Pizza Cheesesteak Review

I knew Paradise was on my list, so here I am at Paradise Pizza, in Norristown PA. Paradise is following social distancing rules very closely and not allowing customers inside, so you have to phone our order in, and they will bring it to you. I pulled up the menu online, and it looks very extensive, and I saw on the door that it’s BYOB.

Looking in the window I see a beautiful sitting area complete with some high top tables. They have a massive menu with a very small cheesesteak section. I also see on the front window that it’s the Merone family Italian Ristorante, so putting two and two together equaled the pizza steak, and I am hoping for homemade sauce. Next, a lovely woman with a heavy Italian accent brought my pizza steak out to me.

In simpleton terms, I will call the roll a toasted Italian baguette, the menu also says that the Cheesesteaks are made with sirloin and trust me its delicious sirloin, with touch thicker slice of meat and more of a rip than a chop.

The cheese was melted very nicely on top, and the sauce is where they trick you, with a little bit of sauce on top of the cheese. But that’s not all they put sauce under the cheese and it makes for a nice tasty juicy sandwich. The roll had a little tough time with all that sauce but I will consider that a good sauce problem and not a bad roll problem.
