Philadelphia, PASonesta Philadelphia's ArtBar Updates The Center City Dining Scene - Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square, announced their newest Executive Chef, Michael Druker, a couple of brand new menus at the signature ART BAR restaurant and lounge, together with a new partnership together with Philadelphia’s most popular coffee roaster, La Colombe.


As the new Executive Chef at Sonesta Philadelphia, Druker offers a new approach to ART BAR beginning with the reinvention of ART BAR’s breakfast, grab and go, as well as dinner selections. Directing your attention on the infusion of regional flavors together with in-season ingredients, menu items which will alternate every quarter to showcase the freshest in-season ingredients.

Anticipate creative spins on traditional favorites. The Breakfast fare is going to feature familiar favorites like a Smoked Salmon Plate, House-made Granola Parfait, Omelets and Buttermilk Pancakes, along with “Chef’s Featured Creations” such as Huevos Tacos, Banana Nutella Stuffed French Toast, Avocado Toast and the Sonesta “Philly” Sandwich served alongside poached eggs, pork roll and Boursin fondue served on a fresh ciabatta roll together with a side of breakfast tater tots.

The dinner fare will focus on small, shared as well as sweet plates designed for sharing. Art Bar’s Small Plates menu features a Spinach, Olive & Goat Cheese Hummus, Java Spiced home-made Kettle Chips complemented with a Smoked Cheddar & Sundried Tomato Whip, Sautéed Clams in Philadelphia’s very own Yards IPA finished off with Italian Long Hots, whereas the Large Plates menu consists of signature items like the famous Market Street Burger, Salmon Club, and Gouda Melt sandwiches. To finish with a sweet note, tasty bites include a Seasonal Strawberry Rhubarb Bread Pudding lying in a Lemon Crème Anglaise.

Adding to the new menus at ART BAR, Sonesta is delighted to announce a partnership together with La Colombe Coffee Roasters as their new coffee provider to the hotel. La Colombe’s trademark drip coffee as well as espresso drinks such as the latte, cappuccino, and Americano is going to be served in ART BAR, and are also readily available as part of the hotel’s catering plans for large groups as well as special events.



ART BAR is situated at 1800 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, and is open from 6:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. for Breakfast, and 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. for dinner. Happy Hour takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each night.
