Philadelphia, PAPhilly Beer at the Zoo - Philadelphia Zoo’s popular Summer Ale Festival is back on Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Festival attendees will go wild for craft beer and cider along with 150+ selections pouring coming from over 70 local and national breweries.


Philadelphia zoo logoHot off of Philly Beer Week, guests can meet dozens of esteemed brewers giving out delicious award-winning, full-bodied beers as well as purchase fresh, regional far from the region’s trendiest food trucks.

Entrance tickets are now on sale for $85 for early entry, $65 for general admission and $35 for non-drinker admittance. Early entry and general admittance tickets come with free parking and a free shuttle to and from 30th Street Station. For tickets as well as more information, visit www.philadelphiazooevents.com. Summer Ale Fest is restricted to individuals 21 or older with valid id.

Brand-new for 2019, you'll find a record number of brewery participants pouring a minimum of two selections each, most notably a who’s who of local breweries.

In between dining and drinks under the stars, look for live entertainment that will also have you dancing from Zoo exhibit to exhibit. This year’s line-up includes DJ Blake and DJ Tree, plus The Bad Bees, playing American alt-rock, and the Kickbax Band, a Philadelphia-based fun-loving “party rock” band playing hits from yesterday to today.
