Mason-Dixon Distillery's Green Movement - Yianni and George Barakos, owners of Mason-Dixon Distillery and advocates of the “grow your own” garden-to-fork culinary trend, are proud to add their own homegrown vegetables to their locally sourced menu.
Mason Dixon spirits are distilled and hand bottled inside a century-old furniture factory, the spirits and distilling process embrace the ethics of hard work, as they believe this is the foundation for genuine quality. Their small-batch spirits are the product of grain to glass process. The spirits are all crafted in-house from scratch utilizing local ingredients. Their ingredients come local from a 47 acre farm on Gettysburg National Military Park and uses these battlefield grains in their bold products. Mason Dixon produces vodka, whiskey, rum, and brandy, as well as a limited stock aged bourbon.
Mason Dixon Distillery has achieved some recent awards for their spirits. Including the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for their white rum, spiced rum and corn whiskey with silver medals and bronze for their aged rum. The white rum was as awarded the gold medalist at the 2018 American Craft Spirits Association competition. At the 2018 NY International Spirits Competition the distillery claimed Pennsylvania Vodka Distillery of the Year, with a gold medal for their vodka, and silver medals for their spiced rum, white rum, and corn whiskey.
