Philadelphia, PACook and Shaker Cheesesteak - Different cheesesteak #984 in the last four years. This was an excellent day for the cheesesteak guy. Special guest eater Tayler B and her Justin. Tayler is on a Pho adventure. I've heard of Cheesesteak dumplings but don't know if there is a Pho cross-market.

Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure at Cook and Shaker

Cook & Shaker; spoiler alert, I liked it a lot. With or without it, it was great having a cheesesteak with her. I fell into that cheesesteak pun. I was expecting Cook & Shaker to be much bigger. I don't know why. I have only seen their posts on Instagram. I give my permission for digital marketing salespeople to quote me. 'I see Instagram posts and think a place is big.' The food in their posts tastes just as good, if not better, than it looks.

Sliced Ribeye Cheesesteak, Caramelized Onions, Banana Peppers, Garlic Buttered roll. The Cook and Shaker tots come with a 'house-made' cheese sauce on the google maps menu. I'm guessing they use the house-made cheese sauce on the cheesesteak. The cheesesteak comes with tots, fries, or a salad (maybe). I got the tots. They were tasty. The cheesesteak is fantastic from the first bite until the end. Balance and flavor in every bite. Balance is a critical component in cheesesteak making.

This cheesesteak had several items that could have overwhelmed your taste buds, but everything worked very well. Cook and Shaker is a cool little corner bar. I found a fruity sour draft I liked. The cheesesteak is $14. It does come with tots. It is a perfect bar/restaurant cheesesteak. I wish it was bigger. Mainly because it was delicious and I wanted more. Looking at their menu while writing this is making me hungry. Cook and Shaker are a few places I will go back to for their other food.
