Philadelphia, PA - We have two judges and the people’s vote for the final four. Each has an equal vote. We judged the Final Four at The Larimer Beer Co in Chester, PA. Thank you, Larimer, for being a great host.
The 1st Match Meatheadz Cheesesteaks Vs. Leo’s Steak Shop.
Meatheadz Cheesesteaks won the NJ/DE Region. Leo’s Steak Shop won the Delaware County, Delco, Region. I think Meatheadz Cheesesteak gets better every time I go there. Leo’s Steak Shop has served the same great cheesesteak for many years. This was a close match. The judges were split, so it came down to the people’s vote. In a late Sunday surge, Leo’s Steak Shop won the people’s vote 3,662 to 3,575. Leo’s Steak Shop moves on to the Championship match.
The 2nd Match Shank’s Original Vs. Tony’s Of West Reading.
Shank’s Original won the Philly Region. Tony’s of West Reading won the Other Counties, OC, Region. Shank’s Original’s new owner Eddie has cleaned the place up and upgraded everything that goes into making a great cheesesteak. Tony’s of West Reading, Yes, Virginia, there is a very good cheesesteak in Reading, PA. This was another split decision. Shank’s won the people's vote 4,103 to 2621. The judges agreed with both giving the nod to Tony of West Reading. Tony moves on to the Championship match.
