It is 187 feet tall and provides spectacular views of Lake Erie, downtown Erie, and Presque Isle State Park. Inside, you'll find two observation decks.


Bicentennial Tower in Erie

The Bicentennial Tower is located in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, and was built to celebrate the city's bicentennial in 1996. Upon entering the tower, you'll be greeted by two observation decks - the lower and upper levels. The upper observation deck can see the downtown area and the Bayfront Convention Center. The upper deck is 137 feet high and requires a ticket.

During your stay in Erie, you can relax in a spa or wellness center or take a relaxing walk along the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail. The trail connects the two cities and travels through quiet woodlands, farmlands, and small rural communities. You'll see remnants of past oil and coal industry operations and the railroads that once crossed Erie. You can also enjoy live music at local clubs and on the Erie waterfront.

After exploring Bicentennial Tower, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Erie and the Presque Isle.  The Presque Isle Lighthouse is a popular attraction in the area.
