Philadelphia, PAPhilly Holiday Festival and Celebrations -  Mayor Jim Kenney kicked off the holiday season at One Liberty Observation Deck announced the details for the third annual Philly Holiday Festival. This year's celebrations will start with the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 22 and continues through the yearly SugarHouse Casino Mummers Day Parade on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Philly Holiday Festival and CelebrationsCity Hall will turn into The Met Holiday Plaza in which an energetic new sound and light show will bedazzle holiday visitors together with the spectacular 65-foot tall holiday tree sponsored by NRG. Visitors to The Met Holiday Plaza relax and grab a bite to eat at Craft Hall a pop-up restaurant and offering up food, wines, hot cocktails as well as local craft beers. New this year is ACME Winter Memories powered by Inspire in the City Hall Courtyard featuring a revamped carousel and lively weekend shows. The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink at Dilworth Park is back a Dilworth Park.

New This Holiday Season:

  • The Philly Holiday Tree - will be located near the public entrance of City Hall at JFK Boulevard and North Broad Street in the newly named The Met Holiday Plaza featuring a stunning display of lights honoring the city’s skyline and various communities.
  • ACME Winter Memories powered by Inspire at the City Hall Courtyard offers “Santa’s Secret Scavenger Hunt,” illuminated trees and tents featuring vendors with unique gifts, a carousel, live entertainment, and other family-friendly activities.
  • Resolutions at Capriccio Café and Bar in Cret Park offers Barefoot Wine and Bubbly, Tito’s Handmade Vodka & Sam Adams. Guests can delight in views of Cret Park and mark their New Year’s Resolution on the Orangetheory Fitness Resolutions Wall.
  • FREE Philly Holiday Festival Shuttle courtesy of VISIT PHILADELPHIA and PHLASH are offering an extended holiday attraction loop from Thursday- Sunday between the hours of 6-9 p.m. starting Friday, November 23- Sunday, December 30.
