Catered Menu
One cannot live on whiskey alone – This will cater the event with a special food menu geared toward the enjoyment of whiskeys and bourbons. We’ve planned a menu that bridges the ballpark's atmosphere with complex flavor profiles of bourbons and whiskeys.

Cocktail Lounge
While the taste of a whiskey served neat has no equal, that doesn’t mean it can’t make a great cocktail. We’ve created a special lounge to highlight the best cocktails available. Experience expertly crafted whiskey cocktails drawing inspiration from the 1920s and 1950s.

Learn

Whiskey enthusiasts can attend classes with master distillers Dave Pickerell and Herman Mihalich. Learn about their approaches to distilling, their experience with rye grains, and what goes into their craft.
Whiskey newbies can learn the basics and more at the Whiskey 101 class. Sarah Milne of Heaven Hill leads a discussion and private tasting geared to be an introduction to whiskey. Discover the different types of whiskeys, how to nose a glass, and more.
There are farmers and malt houses throughout the event to explain how whiskey transforms from grain to glass.

Enjoy & Relax

Whiskey has inspired artisans will have their creations on display at the convention. From confections to watches, attendees will discover amazing products and services.
Let’s be honest – Whiskey is not without its luxury. On a Friday night, a gentleman does want to be at his best. Toward that end, we have made sure the amenities have been attended to. A professional shoe shine will have a chair waiting for you. And a barber offering the best traditional hot shaves. Philadelphia’s finest tailor has a private suite available for suit fittings as well. We’ve set up an outdoor lounge (weather permitting, of course) next to an elite cigar vendor for those wishing for a cigar.

There is no other event like this in the country. We’ve combined the best whiskeys that America has to offer, the amazing people who help make it possible, and an environment that is truly enjoyable, relaxed, and welcoming. You have to be there to understand. It is more than a simple tasting.

History

In the early 2000s, there were only about 70 small distilleries in the United States. We are now nearing 800.

Many smaller craft distilleries are designed to be near farms where their grain can be sourced. Just as in the 1700s, excess grain production can be malted, mashed, and distilled into whiskey. The ingenuity and creativity in American whiskey depend on the variety and quality of grains available.

The history of American whiskey is the history of America itself. Let’s celebrate the spirit defined by the American farmers and distillers that take such pride in its creation- American whiskey.
