After a successful run in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where they narrowly lost to the Netherlands in the Round of 16, the US Men’s National Team is now raring to suit up for the highly anticipated Copa America tournament. It could undoubtedly become a dark horse contender to advance much further than previously advertised.

It certainly has not been smooth sailing for the USMNT throughout the last decade. They infamously failed to secure qualification for the 2018 World Cup embarrassingly while also falling short of consecutive appearances at Copa America in 2019 and 2021.

The US share a group with a major tournament favourite in Uruguay as well as Panama and Boliva, with the States expected to finish in second place and earn qualification for the quarterfinals which could setup a potential matchup against the first placed team from Group D which includes the likes of Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay.
According to the latest betting odds, the US are 1/6 favourites to earn qualification from their group and are 11/8 to win their group all together, with their outrights coming in at 12/1 to win the tournament, behind the likes of Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil and World Cup winners Argentina.
