Philadelphia, PA - The University of Delaware decided to suspended 19 swimming and diving team members for reportedly violating Newark's, gathering limits pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.
WDEL-FM reported the students had attended an off-campus residence on Sept. 26. All attendees have since been quarantined, and all tested negative for COVID-19.
Newark, Delaware's has placed a limitation on large gatherings to 12 individuals for indoors and 20 individuals for outdoor events, unless a permit has been obtained in advance of the event.
