Philadelphia, PA - A Pennsylvania appeals court Judge Patricia McCullough ordered a halt to any further steps toward certifying Pennsylvania's presidential election results.
PA Judge Halts Further Vote Certification
The decision came a day after Gov. Tom Wolf certified Democrat Joe Biden as the state's presidential winner of Pennsylvania.
The Wolf administration is asking the State's Supreme Court to block the ruling, arguing no "conceivable justification" for the ruling. Judge McCullough scheduled a hearing for this Friday.
The suit was filed on Saturday by U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly to challenge the 2.5 million mail-in ballots mostly cast by Democrats. Arguing that the state Legislature failed to follow procedure earlier this year when they voted to expand mail-in voting.
