Philadelphia, PA - The mother of a 5-year old found by his father in the bath-tub has been charged in her son's death. The 5-year-old was found unresponsive in the bathroom of a West Philadelphia apartment.
According to court documents, Jennifer Joseph, 40, was charged with murder and child endangerment in the death of 5-year-old Devon Joseph.
After the discovery, the child was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and was pronounced dead just shortly before noon. The mother was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition.
