Waste and recyclables won't be gathered on New Year's Day. Street Commissioner Carlton Williams urges residents with typical collection on Monday, to set out their garbage on Tuesday, January 2. Trash and recycling collection will be one day behind for the rest of the week.

Just 250 bricks were made for this pilot launch and they will retail for $50 each. Proceeds will directly benefit Philadelphia parks and programs.
