PHILADELPHIA - Center City District (CCD), is proud to announce that Restaurant Week will celebrate its 20th anniversary this fall. Center City's signature dining event, Philadelphia's Restaurant Week, will be held from Sunday, September 10, to Saturday, September 23.
Center City District Restaurant Week: 20th Anniversary Dates Announced
CCD will celebrate chefs and restaurateurs in preparation for this milestone through digital content and special events, including a series of 20-week profiles, exclusive recipes, and weekly activations throughout Center City.
The "Twenty weeks, twenty stories" series is a great way to discover more about chefs and restaurateurs outside the kitchen. Interviewees talk about everything from their inspiration and achievements to their signature recipes and experiences working in Center City. Every week, from spring to summer, a new blog will appear. These blogs can be found at ccdrestaurantweek.com.
Before Center City District Restaurant Week, diners can recreate their favorite dishes by following the recipes provided by participating chefs. Download a digital recipe book online. New submissions will be added until September. Print recipe cards will be available at pop-up events in Center City. To find the latest recipes, visit ccdrestaurantweek.com.
The Restaurant Week Roadshow is bringing excitement to the Office District for the first time this summer. Ambassadors will be in a Restaurant Week branded vehicle every Tuesday afternoon during August to cruise around Center City before stopping at a different office plaza. All ages will enjoy interactive and fun entertainment, such as live music and gift cards. Restaurant Week reservations can be made on-site. The locations will be announced shortly. Restaurant Week Roadshow's grand finale will be held at Dilworth Park on Saturday, September 9, during an exclusive one-day event. In the next few weeks, more information will be available.
In September, a new CCDRW pricing structure will be introduced. This model, based on the multi-course prix-fixe, will expand even more. Details will be announced. By August, a list of participating restaurants should be available.
